.... but for a mac. I was wondering, if there is a peice of software, that can do the stuff that soundforige can do, in the same style, but can run on a mac. Ive looked around and have seen some pretty good peices of software, but they were just WAY to expensive for my budget. And, they were a little more for people producing there own music. I just want to be able to edit, crop, reapir, etc. All the stuff you can do with soundforge can do but in an app that will work on a mac. 8)

    Thanks for any help.

Try Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net It has almost as much functionality as soundforge, but its price is the most appealing: free.

its all in all a good program, but its not really what i was looking for, it can do a lot of stuff, but it just seems to be missing some of the things that SF has, and i was wondering, what other programs are out there, they dont have to be free, but something in a good price range, that can do what i want...

can you be specific? what features are you trying to use that Audacity doesn't have?

and are they features that might be available via plugins? Audacity supports VST plugins, and there's tons of freeware plugins all over the net to cover most effects and sound manipulation, from basic reverbs to indescribable sonic warping.

i checked out this program on the adobe website, and looked at the little video they had, and this is exactly what i need. Does everything i want, and has a lot more that i would like. But i noticed, that i didnt see any support for mac, and im looking for something for a mac. I wanted to dl it and try it, but had only a dl for windows, which my mean that it is avaliable on a mac if you buy it, but im not sure...

i would love to get this software, but as far as i can see there is not support for mac, it may come, but im not sure yet...

Audition has everything i want, and it has the look and feel that i like and im use to, so a program like Audition is awsome. And i would buy audition in a heartbeat, but no mac support

  10. Just run an emulator like Macwindows and you can use any Windows software you want.

    Good luck!
