I could be wrong here but I don't believe TMPGenc is capable of reading Real Media Video.

Well, I stand corrected. I was able to convert a RMV file in TMPGenc, but only because I don't use any Real Network software. Instead I have the Real Alternative Directshow filter installed.

A couple of things I experienced while running a test encode:

    1. TMPGenc opened my Real Video file no problem but produced an mpeg
without audio just like you found.

    2. This was remedied by extracting the audio from the Real Video file and converting it to wav. This produced a 22050hz mono PCM file which I then converted to a 44100hz stereo wav. I then used that file and transcoded to mp2. Finally I just multiplexed with TMPGenc MPEG Tools.

By the way, thanks for bringing up this issue of yours, mynameis97rb. I've converted RM files before using EO Video but I was never happy with the results because it always spit out a choppy frame rate. Anyhow, hope you get things going with your conversion.
