Burning 2 DVDs to One DVDR

more help needed AGAIN sorry

I have a copy of pheonix nights series 2 but it is on 2 dvds. I have compressed both dvds and now want to burn them onto one cd. I am using nero burning software currently and when i drag the files into the VIDEO_TS folder i get an error message saying that the files in the folder have the same name. Is it possible just to rename the files or do i have to do something else.

This is how I would do such a project.

I would use DVD Decrypter and rip both DVDs to HDD and put them in different folders.

I would then use TMPGEnc DVD Author and add these movies, pointing the program to the ripped VIDEO_TS folders, and create a new main menu.

When trying to output this project the program will warn be about it being too big to fit a single DVD, but I would just override that warning and let it create the large DVD folder of this project on HDD.

I would then run DVD Shrink (I like V 2.3) and shrink this project down to exactly fit 1 DVD blank.

Use my burning software and burn that shrunk version to DVD. Pretty easy really.

Done.

You can't just drag both shrunk movies into 1 VIDEO_TS folder. That isn't going to work.

I'd use DVDShrink. Pop one DVD in my writer and the other on my DVDreader.
Open first DVD with Shrink and select Reauthor. Drag the main title over to the reauthor window.
Open 2nd DVD and repeat.
Done. (No menu - you have to select 2nd title with the remote, but...)
