  1. I may have made a mistake, I installed nimo codec pack 8 to make sure i had all the codecs i needed. When i tried playing movies WMP kept crashin so I took some advice and uninstalled the codec pack. Later i tried to use TMPG2.5 wizard to convert an AVI to mpeg so that i could burn it to a VCD. It would only take the video part but would say that the audio was unacceptable. I there any solution to this?

    Thanks for the help

TMPEG does not like mp3 or ac3 audio, both common in DIVX(avi) files.
If it's one of those you need to convert it to mp2 or wav.

  3. load the file into virtual dub, in the video menu check direct stream copy and in the audio menu full processing mode, the in the file menu save as avi, tmpgenc should now take it
