  1. Just got the E60 for Christmas. I was playing with the Ram disc it came with, because my wife got +r discs instead of -r. I picked up some -r discs today, but haven't used them yet (I'm at work now). Anyway, if I copy something to DVD-R and don't finalize it, can I then play it and add markers where I want, then finalize? Will my markers be there?

  2. Sorry for stupid answer, but did you try to read manual ? You know that you can download them from the web if you don't have your copy handy, right ?

  3. dvd-ram discs are the only ones the markers work for
they are like chapter stops, i think unless you finalize
dvd-r,markers work there also...ram are cooler, but
are more expensive...panasonics geta little picky
    about discs they burn also....

Absolutely not. The only way you can get "markers where you want them" on a Panasonic machine is to get one of the hard drive units, like the E80H. If you add markers to video on the hard drive, and then dub that to a DVD-R in "high speed" dubbing mode, those markers will live on in the resulting DVD-R. Absolutely the only way to accomplish this on a Panasonic machine....

  5. Thanks. Oh well, I guess I can live with markers "about every 5 minutes".
