  1. Just got a dvd +- burner (Yes i know its dash, not Minus) and i was interested in storing 4.37gb of regular data (divx movies, mp3s, game rips, pictures) onto a dvd-r, just like you would a regular cdr with a bunch of stuff on it. I checked the really really long faq and looked around here and still cant find out how.

Also another question too, (if cant be answered ill just post it by itself) Can i burn multiple cd images like .bin and .cue onto dvdr? Like say for example i want to burn the new lotr movie, its 4cd images. Can i do it onto a dvdr or should i just use cdr?

Oh, and if i burn the .bin and .cue onto a dvdr, will it be able to be played on my apex dvd player? (i know it wont be dvd format obviously because of the fact thats its just an .mpeg file inside a few folders and dvd is .VOB files)

Oh, I have nero 6.3.0.0 and a few other mainstream burning apps. Just if its possible to make regular data dvdr in nero would be good and how to do it.

When using a burn program like Nero, you select DVD data disk, rather than a video disk.

Only as pure data, I believe. Regardless, they will not play in your player.

Bring up the wizard, select Data DVD, follow the prompts, and a blank directory will appear. Drag and drop your files normally. Select the burn icon, and folow the prompts.[/url]

Yeah, under "New" the compilation i dont see "Data DVD" at all =/
Do you have nero 6 or nero 5? (If you have nero 5 and you know it works, ill go back to nero 5, i have a backup of 5.5.10.54 on my harddrive not installed and have been looking for an excuse to go back to it)

  5. No you cant burn cdr images (bin/cue) to a dvd. better to keep them as cdr or extract the mpg, concatenate them convert them to an accepatble dvd format (1/2d1?) then author them and burn to a dvd-video. Burn to a dvd exactly as you would burn to a Cdr. Nero5.5 will burn to dvd unless you have a drive locked version..( it will only recognize the drive it was shipped with)..
