  1. I'm really thinking about these two DVD recorder's to record TV show's from TV. Does Pioneer when record on DVD-RW burn DVD UDF2.00 just one big MPEG 2 file. There seem's to be some bug's in the Panasonic recorder's

Does Pioneer burn a full DVD UDF2.00 to 4.3gig's and does window's have any problem's read the file once it's on the hard drive? I really want to use MPEG2VCR for editting

Also how long does it take to close a DVD-RAM disc if you had to put in another on. I have a Pioneer AO4 and even if I burn one mpeg 2 video it will take 15 minute's to close the disc.

I also read Panasonic has a better picture then Pioneer on the slow speed's. I I get a Panasonic I'll have to get LG 4040 burner to read DVD-RAM. In your opinion how good is the LG 4040 for burning cheep media my AO4 burn's any thing I put in there. Thank's

  4. "PhilipL" If I'm out of the house and want to record the Video Mode recording will the player stop 4.00gig can the Video Mode recording go over 4.00gig's on the DVD recorder's hard drive but when I want to bring it to the PC just burn under 4gig's so I can edit it on the PC then just edit what left on the record if it was another hour or two just do not burn 4gig on the DVD-RW or DVD-RAM. Thank's
