    I have just received the Philips DVDR70 today (Xmas presi)

    I was worried to read a DVD recorder comments on this site that there may be a problem using the timer function. ie. setting the timer to record more then one program off tv on one dvd+rw disk.

    I have set the machine up OK and am recording a movie off ITV at the moment, everything seems OK.
    The problem is that tomorrow is boxing day and I am away for the day. There are several programmes I want to record and I have no time to test tonight.
    Has anyone any experience with this recorder and multiple timed recordings on one dvd+rw ?

    Worked as expected.
    Recorded on virgin +RW
    Zulu
    The Office part 1
    Laurel and Hardy movie

    Only problem is that I used videoplus to time the recordings and they all have missed the start of each programme.
