  1. I have had no success converting my .vob files to .mpg using Flask. The encoding process goes alright, but when multiplexing I continually get an error message saying that I've run out of disk space. When I click on "OK" and do the disk cleanup, I'm then unable to resume the multiplexing and must start from scratch. Also, when I click on "My Computer," it shows that I still have almost 6GB free. What gives??????

How much free space is needed? Is there anyway to fix this w/o increasing my disk space? Should I try a different software? Is it possible using Flask to resume mulitplexing?

    Any help would be appreciated.

The same thing happened to my when I first tried encoding Hollow Man to mpeg. I had 6gb also available on my drive. Before encoding I DIDN'T set the seconds/frames in the options so it defaulted at 300,000. I let it go overnight..once I checked on it in the morning I had the same message about no room. It still encoded the files but the video and audio weren't multiplexed. So I trashed all the .vbo files and ripped them again just to be safe. It was wierd though cuz when I restarted my computer, my HD was showing it had more space left then I knew what I had...I know I have 11GB total left, but it was showing 17GB...well after a disk scan..that problem was fixed.

In the options I filled in the correct seconds/frames that the movie was and successfully encoded to MPEG this time. Leaving it at 300000 frames was probably the culprit.

Did you put in the correct frames? or was yours at 300000 too?....if you did put in the correct seconds then I don't know what the problem could be because once I rip .vob files to my HD I have only 4GB left and every encoded MPEG I've been making turns out fine.

  3. Thanks for the suggestion. I was told in the instructions to calculate the number of seconds and did so, selecting 113 minutes x 60 seconds. So, I correctly calculated the seconds.

I let mine run overnight, too. Still, I keep getting the same message. I don't know what the answer is.

    Thanks for trying to help.
