Problems with Nero Freezing/Hanging...

I've been trying to burn VCDs with Nero, the latest version, which used to work on my system, but now apparently doesn't.

I'll get everything all set up for the CD to burn, I'll tell it to burn, and right when it's about to start the program will just freeze/hang, and it won't close no matter what I do, so I'll end up having to restart my system.

This happens no matter what I try to burn, VCD or not.

The same thing also happened when I tried to use VCDeasy.

In VCDeasy, it was using the Nero ASPI, and don't know if that would have anything to do with it.

Thank you for any help you could provide. I've got a lot of things takinig up space I'd very much like to put on CD.

Also, when I told VCDeasy to use the Adaptec ASPI, is said it couldn't find any devices. So, I don't know what that was about...

After manually updating a couple of the Adaptec ASPI files that wouldn't update with the installing and running the reg_xp.exe program, VCDeasy doesn't freeze and knows that my cd-roms are there.

I haven't been brave enough to try Nero yet, though.

I just tried to burn a CD with Nero and it froze. Guess everything isn't fixed up yet...

Which exact version of Nero are you running?
