    Hi there,

I just bought a DVD Writer (Pioneer DVR-106) and got my first DVD backup with CloneDVD. I notice that quality meter still remains the same, even if I remove Audio and/or Subtitle stream. Is this a bug ? Do the movie will be transcoded at better quality if I remove them, even if the meter doesn't update itself ? I'm using CloneDVD ver 1.3.11.2

    Thanks in advance
    Emanuele

The meter does not change as you delete streams, that just the way it works. Every stream you delete will improve video quality. Try to keep only the first audio stream for best video. ac3 streams are 150-500MB's and a DTS stream could be 800MB's. Subtitle streams are small 1-10MB's.
