  1. For some reason I can't play SVCD's on my panasonic RV-32. When I try, the video and audio seems to play at 1 fps. If I press the low search button, that is almost the speed the video and audio should play. I see that the RV-32 can play SVCD's so do I have a settings problem?

  2. I had the same exact problem with a Panasonic RP-62.

I converted a DIVX to SVCD by:

Extracting the video and audio into an AVI and WAV file. Then made the SVCD using TMPEG, then used TMPEG to split into 2 SVCD files, and used NERO to burn them using the SVCD option.

Sorry, don't mean to steal your post, but you may have the same problem... so, any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

  3. I looked throught the manual for the RV-32 and it says that the RV-32 doesn't play SVCD, only VCD. Not sure why on this site it says that is supports SVCD's but prehpas it's only the north american model that doesn't play SVCD's.

  4. you may want to try if there's any firmware upgrade for your RV-32, if not or that doesn't help you could changed the header of your SVCD's to VCD, and try that.

    I think I've tried everything on my RP-62, I think i'm just stuck w/ VCD 2.0.
