    Can anyone tell me why my TMPGenc keeps giving my errors when converting PAL (only PAL gives trouble) AVIīs (both DIVX & XVID,latest codecs are installed). It is the same type of error when priority is not corect (read error occured in module TMPGenc.exe,and stuff like that),but i have now tried with every concievable setting,nothing works. I can however convert the PAL to NTSC(film) and this works fine,but then the filesize goes haywire. I have checked the files for bad frames,they are fine. I am fast running out of ideas,and this problem is pissing me off

    So anybody got a soultion??

    When you said the latest codecs installed. By any chance you have DivX 5.1.1 installed? If you do regress back to 5.1 and see if it helps.

    Can the latest divx really be the problem,as the files in question are xvid??

    I tried to uninstall divx all together,did not help.. funny thing is,this ONLY happens on PAL files not NTSC of any kind..

    anyone??
