I have a Philips 228 dvd+r writter and it works great with all dvd+r medias. Have only got coasters from verbatim. However I think my burner have start act a bit strange. It take about 70-100 % cpu use burning dvd+r and 50-80 cpu use burning cd-r. While burning the computer gets really slow you hardly can't do anything. Also the computer monitor starts shimmer sometimes if you try to use the computer while buring, it seems very strange to me. (using a p4 2,53mhz, 240gb harddrive and 512 ddr ram)
I'm pretty sure this wasn't the case a month ago, because at that time I could use the computer while burning without problems!
I have also recognize a burn take over 30 minutes, before I'm I belive it was more stable at 2,4x and it took like 25 minutes or so.....
Well the dvd+r come out fine as before, but I guees something most be wrong?
