I'm trying to fix an a/v synch problem (drift synch), and my reading here suggests that this is caused by differing lengths with audio and video streams.
Just need a way to check the respective lengths and pad them out if necessary either using the tools I have or by getting new tools.
I have installed (latest versions as of 24/12/03):
mplayer
mjpeg-tools
transcode
avifile
vcdimager
kavi2svcd
mpg123
sox
