i'm gettin a dvd burner either today or tomorrow for christmas(NEC-1300a)and need to know where to get my dvd's from (perferably ritek g04)and i need them as fast as possible without paying extra for fast shipping. Having a dvd burner and no dvd's won't be any fun.

i also for burned from meritline.com, any suggestions anyone?

    thx, josh

newegg has fast shipping, rima has quality customer service ( not sure about speed of shipping) both are quality companies and you cant go wrong with either.

  4. I have heard good things about newegg, but I don't have any personal experience with them. I do, however, buy all my DVD-R's from Rima and my recent batch of g04's was excellent. They ship from SoCal and living in the OC I placed the order Tuesday afternoon and they arrived Thursday morning without paying any extra shipping. It really couldn't have gotten to me any faster. I'm not sure how long it takes to other parts of the country, but they usually get the order out next day if they've got it in stock.

screw supermediastore, they are sellin the OLD ritek G04, well last time I bought from them. The ones with the shinny tops, the new ones arent shinny and say "Ridata" in the center hub. Just go with NewEgg.com, they are great I have bought over $1,000 of computer stuff from them, Very Happy with all of there products!! PLus they have the Ritek G04 4x NEW DVD-R's (not the shinny ones) for $53 a 50 pack!!
