    I´m trying to burn data to a cd-r but Nero sais it doesent work because its not a dvd disc in the burner. How do I make Nero understand that I want to burn on a cd-r. I have a dvd burner.

    If you using Nero(6) StartSmart switch from dvd to cd on the top right corner. If you using Nero Burning Rom just select your burner at the top. I think also just before the burning you have to select which burner you want to use.
