  1. hi all, i have been trying to convert RM to VCD for a few days now
i have 40 RMVB files and i have been using TMPGEnc to convert them to Mpeg VCD (i have real alternative installed)
however, after i got to the 30th or something file, if i try to open the rmvb file in TMPGEnc, it would now give me an one of those operation error and shut TMPGEnc off
i found that the rest of the rmvb files also do this, maybe the encoder changed his settings or something

i have already tried using TINRA (gives blank screen)
and EO video (REALLY croppy video, maybe because they don't support vbr files)

so i want wondering if there was "some other way"
i have already searched the forum for an answer but found nothing
i'm thinking this because if a codec like real alternative can be made to play real video in any video player, then wouldn't it also be possible to make any encoder read real media using that same codec??

also, i'm thinking if a frameserver can help (i don't really have an idea of what a frameserver really do, but is there a frameserver where it gets frames from a media player)

  2. TINRA works real good with Realplayer 8, otherwise it gives a blank screen. Also, try R7C at http://pub25.ezboard.com/fstreemeboxvcrfrm7.showMessage?topicID=44.topic

  3. Actually, I found that EO video works with rmvbr but the first thing is we need to add a new extension by its function, Extension Manager. After that, you will see this type of file in its explorer and do the conversion.
