Im also new to this...i just started doing this Friday. From what I've learned so far and what I've done to make my first VCD is...Used Smart Ripper to decode .vob files to HD...then Flask 0.5 to convert the .vob files into MPEGs using the bbMPEG output source....you have to go into options and make sure its set for VideoCD and VCD under another tab....then once the vobs were encoded to mpegs I used Nero to burn to CDRW since my Sony wont play CDRs....there should be some nice tutorials here for you.

Probaby didn't help you out too much, but I'm a newbie too.

    When I began:

    1. I read the 'What is...'

    2. I read the "How to...'

    3. I read the 'F.A.Q.'

    4. I read the corresponding forums if I was confused about anything...

    5. For you:
    A. Read the 'What is VCD?'
    B. Read the 'How to Convert'
    C. Read 'How to Author'
