i have a divx mi6 format 698 meg vid cant read the format w/nero 6.1 to convert win xp pro sp-1

if that divx is american pie 3 (american wedding) then you'll probably recieve a warning for it being related to warez as the movie has not been released for sale.

Just want to know what the Mi6 means that's all. it say this for file name: american_pie_3.DivX.Mi6

Try loading it into Virtual Dub,then select file information from the file menu. It will give you details on the video and audio streams. If it won't the .mi6 file,rename it with an .avi extension.
