    I need to convert an SRT file to SSA for use with Virtualdubmod but when I use the SRT to SSA converter I just get a "Input File Error, Subtitle #1" followed by a "Job Finished" message. The resulting SSA file is only 1k. Any ideas or suggestions as to another converter program ?

    EDIT: I found one in the shape of "Script Converter", works a treat.

    are you sure your srt file is ok? Try using another srt file you know that works - or download one off the web and check it.

    The srt file is fine. I used another converter called Script Converter and it converted to SSA straight away.

    Don't really care as long as it works. Now to get on with that La Haine Rip so I can actually read the bloody subtitles.
