  1. Hello.

I have 15 small VOB files (each VOB file is a music video). I want to burn these to DVD. I want a chapter selection where each chapter links to a music video.

The only program that reads these VOB files is DVD-lab. All other DVD authoring programs just shows some green flixering or plays 3-6 seconds of each file (the files are created with a Panasonic dvd recorder).

Anyway, it seems that DVD-lab's chapter menus can't link to several VOB files, only to chapter stops WITHIN one VOB file, but i can't do that because each music video is in its own VOB file.

So the only way to solve this seems to be joining all these music video VOB files into a large VOB file and then make chapter stops where each music-video starts.
But now i heard that it's not possible to make VOB files larger than 1 gb each, or they wont be readable in dvd players.

So what should i do? How does other people do when they are adding for example a full-feature 90 minute movie in DVD-lab and make chapter selections for that? Those 90 minutes must also be split into several VOB files.
    Please give me your suggestions!

Sorry for the confusing explanation... i hope somebody understands what I am trying to ask.

you can either make each vob it's own movie in DVD Lab, and link them, make a menu to select from them, etc. - I've done with with vob compilations with no problem.

or you can demux the files and make them elementary streams, import them into DVD Lab as normal authoring assets, and let DVD Lab make the vobs itself. This may be your best bet.

  3. Hi, Thanks for your reply!

Could you explain in more detail how I do the last thing you mentioned?
I'm very new to all this. Or maybe there's a guide on how to do it?
