plz help, need MSP VE 5.0 to 5.2 before Christmas

I'm building a machine for my little brothers and the rainbow runner g-series that I picked up from the Matrox site came with Ulead's MediaStudio VE 5.0

On the Ulead FAQ, there is an ftp link to the upgrade for that software (filename: MSP52VeUpdate_E.exe) However, I can't get it to work. I can get the "full version" upgrade file, but not the "VE" edition file. (I was also able to get the spanish edition.)

A few weeks ago, I did download it, but since then, reformatted my own computer's hard drive and deleted it.

If anyone has this file, please post a note here or email.

Go to http://www.ulead.co.uk/tech/msp/msp.htm and click on earlier version, download the FAQ document and all the upgrades for MSP 5 and 5.2, full version and VE are in there.

No, just tried to download and it doesn't work for me either. The ftp is on ulead.com and that was down for a while a couple of weeks ago. Maybe they had a server failure or something.

Sorry, I can't help you, I've got the update for the full version but I've upgraded to 6.5 now.

ok, another alternative, anyone know where I can find a copy of "Movie Maker" that will work on Windows 2000?
