I've created my first DVDSP2 Template. Fittingly the theme of it is this site.
Each of the sections where the forum topics usually appear are now buttons. As you navigate through them the page icon of the left of them changes color to red for selected and a dark blue for activated. This is my fist attempt at this, so expect more to come.
The file will be on my website later today when I get home from work. I'dd add the link here then as well.
Comments/Suggestions welcome.

My second one. It's another website. www.Dotmac.info They are a website for people to share their .mac creations. Now to move on past websites.
This time the buttons are on the left, and you can add a movie to the drop zone in the center. -
Newest one. No website this time. I based it off of what I do best...sleep
You can place a video in the clock. The video only shows up in in the body of the clock under the hands. The pillows in the background are moving from end to end flying around. And there are two buttons on the left. Blue is the selected color, red it activated color. The color is applied to the small circles in the background.
Please leaves comments / ideas! -
I got one! I got one!
This would actually help me on a family project.
I put a drawing in PS, but feel free to fix.
now for additional info:
The PURPLE area is for a static picture
that would change on the next menu screen,
but otherwise would remain static.
The BURGANDY area would be the logo type,
either as a Photoshop .EPS file, or done in Livetype.
The BLACK area, natch, is the drop zone for a loop movie.
The TEAL areas are buttons that would link over to:
Play Movie ( top)
Chapters (middle)
Photo Gallery ( last)
WHITE is the Background of the menu. I like White because it
draws attention or will to the Photos and Loops.
As I said before it would repeat throught the DVD.
Sorry if this seems remedial, we just got DVDSP2
at work, and I'm learning it in my spare time, and
I know you can't do this in iDVD3 ( I've tried).
Thanks.
Oh, I'm not really into websites on DVDs, but the Sleep alarm
thing would be good for Sleepless in Seattle or a similar themed
DVD. I like it the best! -
They are now located at http://homepage.mac.com/tgpo/dvd.html

New One: Chill Pill Menu and Scene Selection
The Chill Pill Menu must be placed in advanced mode in order to get the motion menu opening.
To get the motion opening you must do the following:
*Open DVDSP2 and switch to Advanced Window by clicking Window:Configurations: 3-Advanced
*In The Assets Menu Click the Triangle Next to Templates
*Drag Menu.m2v into the timeline under V1
*Click at the end of the blue icon that shows up in the timeline and drag it to 9:25
*In The Outline Window Click on Track 1
*In The Inspector Window Change The End Jump To Menus:Menu 1:[Menu]
*In The Outline Window Click on the Disk
*In The Inspector Window Change The First Play to Tracks and Stories:Track1:Chapter1
Sorry for having to do all that to get it to work, but I can't save the template in a way that has it already done. And if you don't want the motion, then the still menu will come up if you just import the template. -

This one has opening motion and looks very, very cool. The green background moves and the spheres start from the bottom and triwl their way up. The menu sphere then appears by stretching.
There are also two drop zones within two of the spheres. Starting from the bottom and counting up, sphere number 10 and 12 have the drop zones.
I believe I've found a way that I can share these advanced templates without anyone having to create a project using my instructions. I think I've gotten it now so that you can simply open my project and add to it. Instructions for this will be included with the files. -
New One.
Business As Usual Template
2 drop zones and custom buttons.
Static Image, professional looking I think -
Here is a zim template !
Obey the fist!
and scene selection
Dark booty out. -
These are very nice templates. I was wondering are they difficult to make? Could you maybe make a tutorial on how to make our own for iDVD and DVDSP2.
-
They differ if difficulty to make. Some are easier than other, but all are fun to make
I can make a tutorial if ya'll want me too. Maybe then other people would submit some to my website, I've received 0 so far -

( it shows in Templates--Projects) but when I try to use it for

Very strange....
I tried saving, closing re-opening, and still no go.
I'm pouring through the PDF now, but
I'm pretty sure i followed all the steps.

Glad you liked it.
I'll see if I can get a tutorial or something put together in the near future.
