Problem with no picture??

I have a problem with converting an avi file to mpeg2.

I read in the Common TMPGEnc problems thread and i figured out what kinda of a problem i have but it´s still not working.

I have done all that but the problem is that the file says it´s unsupported but i used AVIcodec and the file isn´t unsupported.

So what can i do too fix this??

It sounds like you're trying to convert a DivX file to mpeg2 and it won't open in TMPGenc. (?)

I would try something really simple myself. I would open the file in another application, like VirtualDub, or Ulead VideoStudio, and save a short clip in say AVI/Huffy, or even convert it with VideoStudio to MPEG2.

Sometimes a small error in the video can cause problems like that. The header may be messed up. I don't know.

TMPGenc is a good program, but when something like that goes wrong I try other applications. Most of the time I find another route.
