Hi. I have a Pioneer D06 DVD writer and use it to author homevideos and backup my DVD's. I used Phillips and Memorex DVDR's. I use either Pinnacle Studio 8 (for home video's) or Pinnacle Instant for backups. The problem is that on my DVD player, Pioneer 444, all DVD's work fine. But on some other players, such as the Pioneer 340, or LG products, whichj is compatible according to the list on the site, the DVD works perfectly fine untill the last 10 minutes, then it starts to freeze and play and freeze and jitters.
I normally burn with the standard setting, i.e. 4.38 Gb.
What am I doing wrong and how can I burn DVD's to be sure that it works at least with the players which is compatible as in the list on this site ?
Thanks for helping.

That only happened to me on a 15 pack of Verbatim DVD-R discs. I suspect it could just be the media so maybe try a known good brand like TDK or Ritek.

I have had this problem on several types of media, even some RITEK G04. However I managed to beat the problem by slowing down the burn speed to 2x (or even 1x) and also where possible not burning the full disk.
