  1. Ok, Ok, I downloaded CD Wave Editor upon advice from another post. I want to splice together a few audio tracks (wav files) to create one wav file (probably ten songs or so)...

So, how do I do it?

I drag one wav file to the interface of the editor, and see it there. I see the prompt to split, I do that, but how do I add another file? Good grief, could the FAQ accompanying the file be any more ambiguous?

  3. You can't open up more than one wav at a time.

IE: My project involves recording the entire side of a tape at once, then break them up. You can split any length of wav into multiple wavs then you save each one.

Only problem is that it saves the original, unbroken wav and sometimes it splits songs at low parts of the song. You should also get a batch MP3 encoder so you save on space by converting the wav.

  4. open a dos box and add your files using standard dos commands for appending files all your wavs should be of the same ilk .
