I received mine yesterday and gave it a little try to make sure it worked fine before I gotta wait to really get it on christmas, only had it on for an hour and when I went to put it away it seemed abnormally warm to me in comparison to other things that I've used before. Just wondering if the advc-100 does generate a lot of heat from someone with experience with it. I'm sure this isn't anything to worry about but just wanna make sure before I really start using it. thanks.

I've had mine about a month and no, mine doesn't appear to generate an inordinate amount of heat.
I'll check it next few days and report back.

Depends what you mean by warm. Mine feels as warm as the back of my PC monitor - maybe slightly cooler (monitor is on 24/7 - stand-by set to 30 mins).
