conflict with Lite on LDW 411S

Hi .... I buy it this DVD burner (LDW 411S) two days ago...

I connected as MASTER in the secondary EIDE.....

I have the next configuration before the DVD Burner..

EIDE Primary
Master HDD 40 GB (I dont remember the manufacture)
Slave Lite on CD Burner 24102BS

EIDE Secundary
Master DVD Rom

So i change it , to this way with DVD burner
EIDE Primary
Master HDD 40 GB (I dont remember the manufacture)
Slave Lite on CD Burner 24102BS

EIDE Secundary
Master DVD Burner Lite on LDW 411S
Slave DVD Rom

This way I have problems for detect the DVD Burner....
Some times read a CD , sometimes dont....
I cant Burn or erase RW DVD...

I change to
EIDE Primary
Master HDD 40 GB (I dont remember the manufacture)
Slave nothing

EIDE Secundary
Master DVD Burner LDW 411S
lave nothing

Work fine... all ok in the DVD Burner....

So I ... What can I do?

Works , I say it little slow.....but make all should be do ....

What Im doing wrong...?
What should "respect" in the conections (DVD Burner as Master in secundary and HDD as master in primary, of course)....

never put a cd/dvd rom burner on the smae ide as your main hard drive will cause problems just put your two burners on the 2nd ide and you will have no probs and throw the old cdrom away and put another hard drive on your primary

What about if you got a controller card? I have my DVDrom and CDburner on one IDE. My 2 HDs on the another. THEN, I have my Lite on 411s Burner on the IDE controller card. I can't seem to write DVDs correctly. And just recently, an Audio CD. I normaly used Nero 6.3 and DVD Decrypter 3.1.9. Media: Memorex DVD-R. I thought there was no such thing as Good and bad media? Just the luck of the draw. I burned DVD isos with no problems a few weeks ago, but now... no luck. ??/
