I am playing around with it now. Seems pretty easy to use and full functioned. You can download a 30 day trial to check it out and when I did that it sent me a coupon for $50 off the price. Also I think you can get an upgrade from mpeg2vcr for $50. It's uses a different model from mpeg2vcr for editing. Rather than cutting things from the video, you select bits you want and move them to an output timeline. I like the frame by frame preview also

  3. It is great. Fast and do all sort of effects without having to reencode the whole file.

A must for Mpeg editors out there.

  4. I'm using Video Wizard for 3 weeks now and so far have used it to make 20 DVD from DVB captures.
It's by far the best mpeg2 video editing / tool I've ever tried. (and I've tried a lot... before finding womble ones)
I've got a lot of bilingual DVB captures so video wizard ability to handle 2 audio tracks is very usefull for me. (I don't remember if mpeg-vcr is able to do that ?)

Is it worth the $50 price for upgrade ? Depends on your needs. If you can do whatever you need to with mpeg-vcr, why upgrading apart to get a nice looking interface ?
