  1. k, im trying to change this divx documentary/movie called Resident Evil: Wesker Report. I hope someone else got it too so im not alone on this. I found it on Newsgroups. But anyways, im trying to convert it to VCD. Everytime i try, i end up with no sound. I get the picture but no sound. I tried ripping the music out of it but it also came out with nothing? Here are the psecs of the movie:

audio format: MPEG Layer-3,255 kBit/s, 48,000 Hz, Stereo

    video format: 640 x 336, 24 Bits, 34835 Frames, 25.000 Frames/Sec, 304 KB/Sec, DIVXMPG4 V3

Ans this is not my first time converting. I converted many times already. So i hope you can help or suggest anything.

  2. How do you try to extract the sound, and what happens when you do? I would try to extract the sound with Virtual Dub (generate a wav file), then encode just the video w/ TMPGenc, then mux w/ bbMPEG.

I also assume that the DivX plays fine in media player?

  3. just rip the sound from the vobs with graphedit, dvd2avi, whatever.. make an mp3 out of it, and merge it with the video thru vdub or nandub (if you're using a vbr mp3)

make sure you have the right audio track selected too
