  1. This one has me stumped

I've used DVD Shrink 2.3 for quite a while....with excellent results.

I downloaded V3.0Beta and have tried several times to use it, but can't get past this problem. I can load/open a ripped dvd, but when I select the reauthor button, the app simply boots up another empty main-screen page. It will not open up the reauthor screen. I've downloaded several copies of the program and get the same result.

Anyone have a clue about this?

    I'm running a 2.4P-4 with an ATI 8500DV. Still on W98SE

    No Problems.

That's what it's supposed to do, drag/drop the main movie over to the new screen. Uncheck unwanted subs/audio and leading/ending credits. Hit the backup button, select deep analysis if you want and point it at a folder.

It rips DVD's by itself also.

There are a number of major changes from 2.3 that trip people up. Re-Author and needing DVDDecryptor are the 2 biggest.

  5. Gazorgan, 99% of the time, v3.1 doesn't need DVD Decrypter.
Only for the very rare problematic DVDs (usualy because they are damaged).

    Um...
What the hell does DVDDecrypter have to do with DVD Shrink?
