    Hi, I got an AVI file PAL encoded... Is there a tool to convert it to NTSC ? Or to view it on my PC (w/o converting it)? I'm in North America so I can't display PAL encoded movie files... At least not with the tools I have now

    To play on your PC it doesn't matter. To make a NTSC x(S)VCD of it I've found that 95% of the time just using TMPGencs NTSC VCD works fine (some frames will be duplicated, this can cause 'sliding/skipping of the picture in certain scences).

    You're right, I got to play it on my PC... It was just a matter of getting the right DivX drivers.

    And I don't plan on making a VCD out of it.
