    help!
    for some reason my liteon 166s slowed down to 2x rip speed. I think that the pinnacle driver check might have done something? it also seems to be pio only.

    Anyone experience this? or could someone advise me on what steps to completely uninstall the device so the driver gets reinstalled under xp?

    Hi

    First go to the devicemanager, and select IDE ATA/ATAPI-controllers.
    Then remove the primary or secondary IDE-channel (depending on which cable your drive is connected at). Now restart en see what happens 8)
