Thanx to anyone in advance for replying.
ok so now heres the problem. i have an avi file i would like to convert to VCD so i can burn it as DVD-VCD. the avi file is 23.97 fps. so now when i convert it to 29.9 fps, the audio goes out of sync (atleast this is wut i think the prob is). i have tried ripping the audio with virtual dub and re-encoding with tmpg without success.
i tried adding the audio track with a delay and that doesnt help since it a gradually goes out of sync.
i have tried reading the guides but still cant figure it out. if anyone can break it down or point me towards a guide i would really appreciate it. thanx

i just gave that a try but the audio is off by even more. my source is 23.97 fps and i need to convert it to 29.97 to make standard vcd.
im not an expert but i would think that i need to speed up the audio so it matches the framerate right?
