  1. Thanx to anyone in advance for replying.
ok so now heres the problem. i have an avi file i would like to convert to VCD so i can burn it as DVD-VCD. the avi file is 23.97 fps. so now when i convert it to 29.9 fps, the audio goes out of sync (atleast this is wut i think the prob is). i have tried ripping the audio with virtual dub and re-encoding with tmpg without success.
i tried adding the audio track with a delay and that doesnt help since it a gradually goes out of sync.
i have tried reading the guides but still cant figure it out. if anyone can break it down or point me towards a guide i would really appreciate it. thanx

  2. If you are encoding in TmpGenc, simply select the framerate as 29.97fps and on the advanced tab select 'do not framerate convert'. Audio should then be in sync.

  3. i just gave that a try but the audio is off by even more. my source is 23.97 fps and i need to convert it to 29.97 to make standard vcd.
im not an expert but i would think that i need to speed up the audio so it matches the framerate right?
