Ok, here is the deal.
I have 1500 jpeg photos stored on cd-rw. I would like to take the best jpegs, a few audio tracks, and burn them onto another cd-rw (probably SVCD). Now, I am proficient with nero, vcdeasy, and a few others, but it seems ridiculous to use this program for encoding, this program for burning, this program for converting cda to wav, this program for this, this program for that, good grief, is this the extent of our technology? What I want is one program for my task (I don't think my task is too demanding, is it)? Ideally, the program would ask...
1. Select which JPEG's you would like to create a slideshow with.
2. Select which audio tracks you would like to have as background music
3. Where is your recordable device (e drive, f drive, g drive, etc.)?
4. Burn
5. Place cd in dvd player
6. View
Which program does this, and how much?

Nero VisionExpress 2 worked perfectly and easily for me. I think u can purchase it as a plug in for nero6 (if u have that) at nero.com.

Slide Show Movie Maker
I'm pretty sure it creates .avi files though....then you can encode to SVCD....one less step? -
