  1. I am having problems with copying an entire movie onto a dvdr. Other people have had this problem but I think mine is a little different. The movie plays fine if I only copy the movie but if I try to do the entire disc it doesn't play right throughout the movie. It "jumps" a lot and the sound goes in and out. I have used Instant Copy as well as Copytodvd to burn and I get the same problem. I've used different media and the same problem occurs. Any suggestions for different programs to try or other remedies?
    Thanks

  2. What media are you using? Where is the problem playing on your PC or a standalone ?
I would try either dvdecrepiter or dvdshrink to extract the files to your hard drive then nero to burn. To be honest it does sound more like cheap poor quality media that is the problem.

I agree with iooi, I use shrink and nero 6 and NEVER a coaster!
If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

  5. I have to agree with the others. Shrink it first to your hard drive and use a burning tool like nero. Also, check the media Ritek are good. Depends where you are based, I know a few good UK sites but cannot speak for the USA.

Check out this list for known good and bad types (thanks to lordsmurf here) and also a few hints and tips.
