  1. I has exhausted every possible guide and searched the forum to no avail. I have converted avi files to vcd and DVD before but never converted PAL to NTSC and AC3 to WAV before. Listed below are the steps (guides) I have already taken.

I have 2 xvid files with AC3 25 fps. Joined these files togther.

Used Beslice https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/186739.php to fix AC3.

Used Vdub to convert fixed AC3 to WAV.

    Used Besweet to convert audio

THIS is the log file from Besweet with error message.

Error 46: Invalid combination between SSRC values & FRC values.

    Logging ends : 12/21/03 , 08:35:58.

Is there another step/s (guides) I have left out, if so can you please point me to the write direction and tell me where I went wrong?

    Thank you

Convert each AC-3 file to a WAV file. Then join the two WAV files to make one long WAV file. Then use BeSweet to convert the single long WAV file to a new WAV file doing the FPS change (using the PRE-SET option in the BeSweet GUI).

Now you have a new single WAV file that should be the proper length. At this point you can convert it to whatever format you want be it MP2 or AC-3 etc.

The FPS conversion process seems to work BEST when going from WAV to WAV or AC-3 to AC-3 but never a good thing to convert from one FORMAT to another (example: such as AC-3 to WAV) while doing the FPS change.

    So once again:

1.) Convert audio to a WAV file if it isn't already
2.) Convert the WAV to a new WAV doing the FPS change
3.) Convert the correct WAV to your desired output format (aka AC-3)

You can go from 5.1 AC-3 to 5.1 AC-3 while doing the FPS change. For this use BeSweet and the AC3Machine as a front end. This seems to work OK and retains your 5.1 multichannel sound. However if you have a 2.0 AC-3 I say convert it to a stereo wav first and then back to AC-3 in the end if that is what you want.
