Anamorphic SVCD Players?

Help!

I need to replace my DVD player and I'm looking for one that will play anamorphic SVCD's. My current DVD player is an APEX model AD-1000 and it plays my anamorphic SVCD's correctly. It will properly letterbox 16:9, 2.35:1, and 4:3 SVCD's. Sometimes it will play 2.35:1 SVCD's 'jerky' and wrong aspect ratio, but if I prime it with a widescreen DVD movie, it will play the SVCD correctly. I author anamorphic SVCD's using DVD2SVCD.

I have searched the forums and have read several times that most DVD players will not play anamorphic SVCD's. I have tried other APEX models 1110W and AD-1201, both will play 4:3 and 16:9 fine, but stretches my 2.35:1 to 16:9. I also tried the <$50 CyberHome DVD player and it stretched them all to 4:3.

Any help on another DVD player that will do what I need or should I go looking for another APEX AD-1000?

I found the answer! Fry's has an excellent DVD player area and they let me freely try out all their players until I found one that worked. I ended up with a COBY model 515, it properly letterbox's all my SVCD's. I also had sucess with the COBY model 215 and a single disk Samsung player worked fine on my SVCD's, but wouldn't play my DVDR's.
