Hello, I'm new in this vcd stuff.
I have a Athlon/750mhz 128mb 10gb HD.
I just bought a Pinnacle STUDIO DC10 PLUS.
But I have low space in my hd.
I'm planning to buy a USB HB , maybe 40Gb.
This is good(fast) for capture video?
Please, help me!
Thanks in advance
SPFC

i don't think u could capture directly to it, but you could move ur captures to it for editing/storeage

for the price of a usb hdd, you could probally buy a 40-80 gigabyte internal hard disk to replace the one u have.
maybe if u have 2 ports on ribben, you could have two hdds -
Well, if you really wanted a removeable HD, dont go with USB, get firewire. Transfer rates are way faster. Firewire is pretty expensive though, i bough the Maxtor 80gig Firewire drive when it first came out and it cost me $400.
I also agree with the above post, just buy an internal HD
