  5. I do it in one step:

Run AnyDVD 3 in the background.
Use Recode 2 wich automatically burns with Nero 6.3

What is GOING ON with the amazing number of 3-post newbies posting irrelevant and utterly stupid guides on "how to copy a DVD" lately with lots of extra steps and garbage in them?

Did you bother to read the content of the site? What made you think that ANY of us were so clueless as to need this "guide" that you wrote?

Yeah, I'm being a little harsh. Please don't be TOO offended by this. But seriously - you're like the 10th person in the past couple of weeks to come in and post some "guide" to "copying a DVD" that was silly and amateurish. We already have guides, and none of us need them anyway.

  7. Step 1
Use DVDDecrypter to rip and burn DVD-5.

    Step 2
Use DVDShrink to rip and transcode DVD-9/10/18 to put on one DVDR.Use DVDFab to split DVD to two DVDR.

    Step 3
Use Imgtools classic to create an ISO image and burn with DVDDecrypter.

No offense but I have to agree with Gurm this guide wasn't needed.

No reason to be so nasty...

Do you want donations to this site, or do you want to blow people away for their contibutions because they aren't as up to what this site offers as you? I've been watching this site for years, and learning, and just recently contributing to others as I have been slowly comming up to speed. If I had learned something, and posted it here, and had a response such as yours, I'd have left here a long time ago!

  10. Ecodez,

I am a supporter of this website. I have learned much from here. As time has warranted, I have browsed and learned more and more, and as issues have presented themselves in my video world, I have posted for answers to my questions/issues. I tell all my friends of this place. This is a great website!

My posts have never been referred to as irrelevant or stupid, thus, after reading this thread in which you were called such, I respond right now.

Because your “offending” post has been covered in some detail by others SOMEWHERE on this site, doesn’t make you stupid, nor does it make what you said irrelevant. There are ways to direct people to source articles/tutorials which are covered here, but the above post is not how to do it.

By and large, for me, everyone here has been informative and nice and understanding with my posts, from day one. Great detailed help. Wonderful sources! Yet we have that 1% or 2% who have had their bad day, and kicked the cat (living in a red state) when it was the dog who crapped on the couch, (blue state) (knowing full well)!

    !
I dont think Gurn was being nasty mearly pointing out that if you read the guides you will find easier ways of doing things. If people wish to suggest new ways of doing things like this then fine write a guide and submit it to the list. The trouble is newbies (yes i know we were all them once) see posts like this and go the route thinking its the way things are done, when there are easier ways already posted in the guides....Which never seem to get read by some.

    Happy Christmas everyone...

This invective could only come from someone so miserable that we should actually pity. Seriously, get some help. No one should become this enraged about an anonymost post on an internet message forum. I truly hope you find peace and happiness, especially now that the holidays are upon us.

The guides don't bother me,just ignore them. What bothers me is all software rip-offs that now get posted.
