i already looked thru that before and it's a useless SVCD guide. it's so brief that it doesn't go thru all the MPEG setting tabs. i'm also wondering if you can change where the cache is saved for multi pass VBR or is only for C drive? cuz i have way more space on my D drive. do i adjust the Temporary file>Folder setting>General tab>Environmental setting for the cache??

Well, if you are making and SVCD, I would use the Super Video CD setting.
I set my temp folder to another drive, my Z drive. -
