My client needs a CD with the following attributes:
1. A menu-driven, navigatable CD with MPEG-1s
2. The MPEG-1 files need to be copyable directly from the CD and instantly useable (no, I can't have the users install a .dat to mpeg-1 utility)
3. The CD needs to have autoplay capabilities on stand alone DVD players and computer-based CD and DVD players
I am going to use VCDEasy for authoring the CD. I have downloaded all the necessary guides and will figure that part out.
What I need help with are numbers 2 and 3. Do I need to format a seperate part of the VCD for regular MPEG-1 versions of the VCD video files (my understanding is that these are .DAT files, MPEG-1s with additional header information)? How do I do this using Nero Burning ROM 6 or some other easily accessible program?
Do I need to rig up some kind of autoplay for computer-based CD players and such? I have a program called AutoRun Assistant that can help with this kind of thing.
Thanks for any advice on this up front
