  1. Hello,

Can anyone tell me how I can strip out just the audio from something I recorded on DVD and then convert the audio file to a format to allow it to be played on CD? Also, once you do this is there a way to cut up the audio file to make individual CD tracks? I would like to try and do this with the least expensive amount of software required. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

  3. There are many ways but the easiest way is to use DVDDecrypter (IFO mode->Stream Processing->Demux) then use AC3Tool or BeSweet to convert AC3 to WAV.If the audio is DTS forget it,if the audio is MP2 then use TMPGEnc to output to WAVE.
Then use www.cdwave.com to downsample to 44.1khz and split into tracks.
All the tools I mentioned are free but you might try Goldwave($40USD) because it can do all of the above.

  4. Can Goldwave do everything including the stuff covered by DVD Decrypter and is Goldwave pretty user friendly? Thanks for the help.

You really need to download Gold Wave to find out if it is user friendly. What I consider user friendly may not be what you consider to be.

  6. Having never tried to attempt anything like this, I was just wondering if the software was easy to follow.

    Thanks,
