I am having problens with the recording of a DVD. I´m trying to make a video DVD with a MPEG2 file. I´m using the WinDVD CREATOR and I get this dialog box "not enough space in the temporary disc". How mach space do I need to record a file of 4gb???

    Thank you....

  2. I don't use WinDVD CREATOR but I would guess it will re-encode the audio from mp2 (what it is in the mpeg file) to LPCM, which is uncompressed. That is why it won't fit. Take a look at the help file or options to see if you can leave it as mp2. Mp2 is valid for DVD in Europe but some (a few) US players won't play it.

If WinDVD CREATOR won't allow you to keep the audio as mp2, either put less on the DVD (3 * 1Gb mpegs might fit) or use an authoring program that will keep the mp2 audio, such as DVd-Lab or Tmpgenc DVD Author
