convert .dat to wav

i have vcd karaoke = video+audio-----------> .DAT
now i need to get only audio--------------------> .WAV
anybody know how to do it?

Use VCDGear or VCDEasy or ISO Buster to convert your .dat file to a .mpg file.

Then demultiplex the mpg file to split the audio and the video (use TMPGEnc's MPEG tools).

You'll then have an mp2 file, which you will be able to open with an audio editor like GoldWave (or Audacity, SoundForge etc..).

From the audio editor you'll be able to save as a wav (and do any editing you want to first).

There are other ways of doing this, but that's the way I'd go about it.
