    I want to record an avi from my pc to a VHS tape with my DVC2, what i have to encode it as, I have the latest Version of TMPGenc. MPEG2, MPEG1 ? What Stream Type in TMPGenc?

    If you spent 300 bucks on a DVC II

    then why would you record to avi and then convert to mpeg instead of recording directly to mpeg and saving your self all those hours of reencoding?

    no, i downlaoded an avi, and i want to record it to a vhs tape, so i need to convert/encode it.
