When I open a subtitle file in Subtitle Workshop, it shows the correct times (the times on the file). But if you then set both input fps AND (output) fps to the same (f.ex. 25) the times will change. Shouldn't the times in and out be exactly the same when input and output fps are the same, regardless if it is 25, 24, 30 etc? There is no information about fps in the subtitle file. And the times are actually different too, if you set both to say 24 or 30.
I work as a programmer and we do a lot of text file conversions, and if you have a file with something in cm, but manually override the input to km and say you want the output in km, you shouldn't convert anything.

Yeah, both FPS behave strangely on subtitles times, I don't understand how it works, nor what is their meaning.
It should be usefull if, say, you need to convert a subtitle ripped from a NTSC dvd to a make a PAL dvd...
