prassi primo and nec 1000a

Will it work with the nec 1000a?

I dont know what the above means,this is the first time I have ask the question.
I have tried, it will not list my VERBATIM PRODUCER / NEC 1000A as one of my drives.
I use NERO and RECORDNOW MAX, from what I read PRASSI PRIMO may be better for backing up playstation 2.
I have installed 2 pxengine updates with no luck,is there one that will make it work with my drive?

Prassi PrimoDVD is the OLD name for RecordNow. RecordNow is newer and better.

PrimoDVD is old and nasty and should only be used by people who have a real desire to hurt themselves.
