  1. ok i want to be able to get film off my tape camera so im gona buy a tv tuner (cheap one but not a bad one) and then buy a connector for tv's when they dont have the rca ports..if you know what i mean. its like 17 bucks at walmart

    will this work?

  2. If I read your post correctly, you want to use a TV tuner card and capture using an RF modulator to convert an RCA composite to a channel 3 or 4 signal?

    The setup would work, assuming the tuner card allows you to capture video from the card (if not, then i guess you're SOL). The only problem I see is the quality, since a signal on a channel 3 or 4 frequency would be lower quality than a composite or component connection, but if you have good cables and little to no interference, then you should be okay.

    You could also connect your VCR coax output to the tuner card directly and avoid buying a modulator.

    ive been posting around too see if i could do that and nobody knew that i was talking about...(the vcr thing) alright i think im gona just use my vcr it would be cheaper
